What is Hour of Code?
The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify “code”, to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide event that coincides with Computer Science Education Week reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries.
Spend an hour exploring and learning the fundamentals of computer coding with easy and entertaining self-guided tutorials featuring Star Wars, Minecraft, Disney’s “Frozen,” “Ice Age,” and more.
Reservations are REQUIRED as seating and computers are limited! To register, pick a time slot (one-hour) that is convenient to you and input attendee(s) information. All participants will receive an Hour of Code Certificate, YouthLink CodePak, and will be entered into a drawing for a SAMSUNG GALAXY TABLET + GOOGLE PLAY GIFT CARD.
